Winning commercial proposals with Microsoft 365 Copilot
Apply one transferable prompt method across customer research, proposal drafting, RFP analysis, compliance matrices, objection preparation and bid follow-up. Copilot supports structured preparation; authorised professionals retain commercial, legal, pricing, go/no-go and submission control.

From approved source to authorised submission
Copilot can prepare drafts, matrices and research summaries. It must not independently set prices or margins, interpret contractual obligations, approve exceptions, decide go/no-go or submit a bid.

Proposal work is fragmented across sources, requirements, reviewers and deadlines.
The opportunity is not autonomous bidding. It is a repeatable workflow that makes requirements, evidence, gaps, assumptions and approvals easier to see and review.
Customer, RFP and proposal information is spread across email, documents, meetings and spreadsheets.
RFP requirements are extracted and tracked manually.
Missing answers, weak evidence and compliance gaps are difficult to spot early.
Covering emails, follow-up and bid debriefs are repeatedly recreated.
Customer context, pain points and decision-maker information are used inconsistently.
Pricing, margin and proposal data are difficult to compare safely.
Too little time remains for strategy, differentiation, personalisation and closing.
Teams remain uncertain about confidentiality, GDPR, claims, procurement rules and legal risk.
Prepare proposals more systematically without delegating commercial decisions.
Results depend on source quality, permissions, team process, licence availability, commercial strategy, procurement context, legal review and human approval.
Seven preparation frameworks with explicit evidence and authority boundaries.
Each methodology shows its purpose, required sources, Copilot support, concrete output, human control and the most important limitation.

Practical, licence and governance questions
Who is this proposal and bid training for?
It is intended for sales professionals, account managers, bid and proposal managers, business developers, tender teams, sales operations, commercial managers and subject-matter experts contributing to proposals.
Is technical, sales or bid prior knowledge required?
No technical prior knowledge is required. Familiarity with the organisation’s commercial or proposal process helps participants apply the exercises.
Which Microsoft 365 Copilot licence is needed?
Exact requirements depend on the exercises, tenant configuration, service plans and rollout. They must be confirmed before registration or delivery.
Can I attend without active Copilot access?
Observation may be possible, but active participation in all exercises can require suitable Microsoft 365 Copilot access. Confirm the delivery setup in advance.
Can I work with my own proposals or RFPs?
Only when organisational policy, confidentiality, procurement rules and access rights allow it. Fictional, anonymised or explicitly approved material is preferred.
How are customer, pricing and RFP data protected?
Use data minimisation, least-privilege access, approved sources, correct classifications and restricted sharing. Do not place confidential proposal data in public forms or demonstrations.
Can Copilot automatically answer an RFP fully and compliantly?
No. It can help extract requirements and draft responses, but completeness, interpretation, evidence, legal wording and compliance require authorised human review.
How reliable is a compliance matrix?
It is a working control aid whose quality depends on the official RFP version, extraction accuracy, source evidence, ownership and review. It is not a legal declaration of compliance.
Can Copilot propose prices, margins or contractual terms?
It may help structure authorised inputs, but pricing, margin, concessions, exceptions and contractual terms require finance, commercial and legal authority.
Is DISC an objective personality assessment?
No. In this training it is used only as a tentative communication-preparation framework, not as a diagnosis or objective assessment.
How reliable is a KYC report?
It depends on source quality, currency, permissions and interpretation. It is not full due diligence and must be reviewed by the account and bid team.
What is the role of human and legal validation?
Authorised reviewers validate requirements, claims, evidence, pricing, terms, exceptions, procurement rules and submission readiness.
What is the difference between Copilot Chat, Notebooks and Agent Builder?
Copilot Chat supports prompt-based research and drafting; Microsoft 365 Copilot Notebooks scope selected references; Agent Builder creates reusable assistants. Access and capabilities depend on licence and configuration.
Will I build a proposal assistant?
The programme includes a bounded prototype. Production use requires approved sources, ownership, testing, access controls, logging, lifecycle management and escalation paths.
Can the training be delivered in-company or adapted?
The format and adaptation must be agreed and approved; the public page does not invent unconfirmed commercial details.
In which languages is the training available?
English, French and Dutch page versions are planned. The actual delivery languages must be confirmed.
Practical learning you can apply immediately at work.
Participants value the clarity, energy and immediate application of every WorkWithAI workshop.
